The law firm Poul Schmith/ Kammeradvokaten has its Copenhagen office in the national rail company DSB’s former freight terminal at Kalvebod Brygge. After recent extensive renovation undertaken by Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects in collaboration with LAIKA Rumdesign and Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten, the building now appears as a forward-looking interpretation of a lawyer’s office.

Dinesen HeartOak
Thickness: 22 mm. Width: 300 mm. Length: 2–5 m.
The environment has a bright, Nordic appearance, with wooden floors and soft furniture. Dinesen HeartOak planks offer a counterpoint to the building’s raw concrete structure, the floor’s warm glow and little butterflies bringing a warm atmosphere to the space.
Distributed throughout the open office landscape with communal areas and meeting rooms, small, soft oases serve as pleasant break spaces for employees and guests.
