The Jungle House

In the very jungle area in Caracas, Venezuela, this luxurious villa basks with extravagance. The design was realised by Oppenheim Architecture in Miami who utilised Dinesen HeartOak planks to tie a lovely bow to the experience of this extraordinary jungle house.

The feeling of walking straight into the jungle is prevalent throughout the entire house with the grand floor to ceiling windows that let in the natural light.

The design is kept in a tone on tone colour palette, letting the stunning jungle backdrop steal the show. At the end of the garden, a long pool follows the outskirts of the home – its tempting water glittering in the sun, offering the family a cool relief during the humid and hot seasons.

The architect, Croigarquitectos, was inspired by the idea of an old ruin which was left in the middle of the jungle. The structure of the house is made from local stones with an inner patio, and all the spaces in the house are adjacent to the inner patio.
